Observing Juneteenth

Juneteenth commemorates the true end of slavery in the US, and All-Stars took the opportunity to reflect on the work that is left to do to create equality in our country. In the classroom, ASAS students discussed the history and significance of Juneteenth and created collages to creatively express their thoughts about equality, race, and freedom. The above comments were made by middle school All-Stars during their candid conversations.
