REDDIT CO-FOUNDER TALKS TECH, LIFE LESSONS WITH ALL-STARS

Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder of social news website Reddit, and the husband of tennis superstar Serena Williams spent an afternoon mentoring a group of students from After-School All-Stars in Richmond. In addition to co-founding Reddit, the fourth largest website in the nation, the 35-year-old was also a partner at Y Combinator, the most prestigious startup accelerator in Silicon Valley and he currently serves as a partner at Initialized Capital.

LEADERSHIP HIGHLIGHT

Namrata Gupta

ASAS Bay Area Executive Director, Namrata Gupta, is a social entrepreneur. She was on the founding team of The Julia Morgan School for Girls in Oakland, and the founding team of San Mateo County’s first charter high school. She has worked alongside teams to redesign the leadership development program to better support teachers and principals in forging next generation learning environments. She has her Bachelor’s from Columbia University and her Masters from NYU.
