Although his parents weren’t often around, Wallace found an extended family in After-School All-Stars. He continued working with the program long after he graduated. His connection was so strong it was hard to think of ASAS Orlando without Wallace.

2018 ASAS Legislative Day
After-School All-Stars visited the State Capitol in Tallahassee, FL as part of our annual 2018 Legislative Day. Students had the opportunity to meet with legislators and ask questions. After a full day, students returned home with a much richer understanding of the workings of state government and the importance of being involved in the political process.

Leadership Highlight
Dan Toffoli, Executive Director
Dan serves as the Executive Director for the ASAS Orlando chapter. Prior to this role, Dan spent over 4 years as an Assistant Principal in the Orange County School District and nearly two decades in the non-profit juvenile justice sector with AMI Kids managing residential and day-treatment programs across the state of Florida and Georgia. Dan is a graduate of the University of Florida and lives in the Orlando area with his wife and two children.
