A Year of Growth and Gratitude
As we step into 2026, we are filled with gratitude for the meaningful work unfolding across our 14 sites in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. It has been a privilege to walk alongside students, families, and school communities as trusted partners.
Our Site Leadership teams carry forward our mission with dedication, opening doors and creating opportunities that transform lives. This past year, we strengthened vital partnerships with foundations, expanding our capacity to serve.
2025 Wellchella
Big thanks to all of our attendees and the incredible supporters who made this year’s event possible! Wellchella is our annual celebration of wellness and connection where we provide wellness-focused professional development for all ASAS NY educators. This year’s event took place on April 14 and was jam-packed full of exciting activities and opportunities to engage with others who are passionate about wellness.
Celebrating 30 Years of Impact
This year marked a monumental milestone for After-School All-Stars New York: our 30th anniversary! For three decades, we’ve empowered NYC’s youth with opportunities to grow, thrive, and shine.
We celebrated at the Edison Ballroom on June 17th with dinner, music, and a thrilling auction.
Recent News & Events
Last January, hundreds of students in our LA and NY chapters attended exclusive early screenings of Wonka.
This once-in-a-lifetime experience included a red carpet photoshoot, giveaways, and a surprise visit by “Willy Wonka” himself, Timothée Chalamet!
Across the org, All-Star leaders are being recognized for their outstanding contributions to out-of-school time (OST) programs. Through advocacy, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to youth wellness, these honorees aren’t just changing individual lives—they’re reshaping the entire OST landscape.
As the school year winds down, our chapters have been honoring student achievement, creativity, and community with meaningful end-of-year celebrations. We’re proud to spotlight just a few of the many highlights Across the Network that made the end of the school year so special.
