After-School All-Stars provides comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and life.

Visual & Performing Arts
Health and wellness programs encourage healthy habits like daily exercise, healthy eating, and life skills development by offering opportunities for physical activity, fresh food preparation, and mindfulness.
Program examples: nutrition and cooking, soccer, yoga, boxing, meditation
Academic readiness programs give our students the support and homework help they need to build positive academic behaviors at school that can lead to success in high school and beyond.
Program examples: homework assistance, college visits, leadership preparation
Career exploration programs expose our students to career pathways and industry mentors. Students develop strategies for realizing career and education goals while building hard and soft skills.
Program examples: field trips and professional workplace visits, expert panel discussions, mentorship
STEM content (science, technology, engineering and math) is taught through project-based learning experiences that also reinforce valuable life skills like collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and creativity.
Program examples: computer science, environmental literacy, chemistry, coding
Visual and performing arts programs build confidence, encourage self-expression, and develop technical and leadership skills. Arts programs include many courses that have been cut from traditional school programming.

North Texas Awarded Grant for Girls in STEM!
ASAS North Texas received $25,000 from High Tech High Heels to continue their #FemSTEM program, which will serve approximately 845 girls by July 2023! #FemSTEM is a STEM enrichment club dedicated to closing the opportunity gap while addressing the underrepresentation of women in STEM careers through intentional STEM programs.
