Our Impact
We’re more than a nonprofit—we’re a movement empowering young people through after-school programs that build confidence, leadership, and community. All-Stars gain skills they carry into college, careers, and life.
Our Commitment to Students
We are committed to the growth and development of young people. We create opportunities for them to build strong relationships with peers and adults. Students also take part in activities that spark their interests and support active, engaging learning.
Through these experiences, All-Stars gain a deeper understanding of themselves. They build lasting social connections and take important steps toward success in school and life.
Built to Last:
Annual Report 2025
We’re proud to share our FY25 Annual Report: Built to Last — a closer look at the essential building blocks we provide for student success through academics, health and wellness, mentorship, and enrichment. Together, we are creating programs and opportunities that stand the test of time, giving students the stability to grow upward and outward toward their futures.
Why Out-of-School Time?
Out-of-school time (OST) enrichment programs play a vital role in child development. They give students chances to explore new interests, expand their horizons, and build skills beyond the classroom.
The impact of high-quality OST programs is clear. Students often see stronger academic performance, better emotional well-being, and healthier social development. Regular participation also leads to fewer risky behaviors and more engagement in positive activities.
After-School All-Stars is helping young people grow into confident, well-rounded individuals—ready to take on life’s challenges and opportunities.

All-Star Impact
All-Star Leadership University (ASLU) is a week-long youth leadership conference that brings together All-Star mentors and student leaders from across the U.S. to to explore their strengths as leaders, discover their voice, and make an impact in their community through their unique purpose in life.
Across the U.S., 11.5% of youth (2.7 million young people) are experiencing severe major depression. Our free, year-round programs strive to provide positive mentorship and foster healthy habits in safe environments where students feel heard, valued, and supported.
ASAS is transforming summers into a season of growth, adventure, and discovery for our students. Across the organization, our curriculum aims to develop the whole child: intellectually, socially, physically, and emotionally. From cosmetology to Japanese calligraphy, STEM camps to professional sporting events—our free programs ensure that All-Star students never stop learning.
