Tracy Ensign

Tracy Ensign comes to After-School All-Stars Ohio as the Executive Director with over 20 years of professional experience in government and anti-poverty work. Prior to joining the ASAS team, Tracy served as the Assistant Director of the Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives for the State of Ohio. Tracy implemented the first ever “Ohio’s Compassion Map”, quantifying the work of non-profits and their impact on the state’s economy. She has been a champion of hunger relief across the state, piloting the first ever Rural Meal Delivery program, providing weekend meals to the Appalachian counties in southern Ohio. Tracy has an extensive list of successful collaborations with multiple agencies with the goal of educating and assisting low-income families. They include: Mom2B (fights infant mortality), Mom’s House (education assistance for single mothers), Coats for Kids, and COPE (educating parents with skills and knowledge for caring for premature babies). Tracy also worked with Serve Ohio, connecting volunteers to communities in need. During her time away from After-School All-Stars Ohio, Tracy enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, enjoying time with her family, supporting the Humane Society, and is an avid Buckeye fan!
