Jodi Manzella joined After-School All-Stars Las Vegas (ASAS) in 2016 to serve as the organization’s Executive Director. Manzella oversees all operations of the nonprofit that serves more than 6,500 at-risk youth at 15 different elementary and middle schools in the Clark County School District with free, comprehensive after-school academic and enrichment programs designed to help children succeed in school and in life.
In her role, Manzella leads a staff of full and part-time employees in the daily management and execution of after-school programs that include thousands of participating students and their instructors at school sites spread throughout the Las Vegas valley. In addition, she oversees all events and fundraising initiatives, manages the organization’s finances, serves as the primary liaison with the board of directors and represents ASAS in the community as the primary ambassador and spokesperson.
Manzella came to ASAS with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Rising through the ranks to become Chief Operating Officer during a 17-year span at Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada, Manzella created and developed successful events, designed and implemented innovative K-12 curriculums and restructured the volunteer initiative, successfully building the program to include more than 500 volunteers annually. During her tenure, Manzella forged deep connections with hundreds of educators and community partners while gaining a reputation for leading staff by modeling financial responsibility and goal-driven success.
Active in the community, Manzella volunteers with Junior League of Las Vegas and Leadership Las Vegas, a program from which she graduated in 2006 and continues to serve.
A long-time Southern Nevada resident, Manzella graduated from Clark High School before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, majoring in accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno. She and her husband, Jeff, are parents to a son.
