A Historic Investment in our Students

Big moments begin with belief in young people.

On March 2 at the Crypto.com Arena, that belief was front and center. During the LA Kings game against the Colorado Avalanche, Crypto.com made a $1 million commitment to After-School All-Stars, alongside the LA Kings and the Kings Care Foundation. The contribution was recognized on the ice in front of thousands of fans.

Our Founder, Arnold Schwarzenegger, joined leaders from Crypto.com and the LA Kings to mark the occasion, including Kings President Luc Robitaille. A group of ASAS Los Angeles students stood alongside Governor Schwarzenegger to accept the award, which was presented by ASAS Board Member Matt David, President of North America and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Crypto.com.

For the 140,000+ students we serve each year, this commitment means more access to mentorship, hands-on learning, and the kind of after-school experiences that help young people discover their strengths and build confidence in what comes next.

Our students brought energy to the arena with a drumline performance before the game and even took part in Zamboni rides during the intermission. They enjoyed a VIP game experience alongside their peers in a special student suite, complete with a visit from Bailey, the beloved mascot of the Los Angeles Kings. Their excitement and presence throughout the night were a powerful reminder of who this work is truly for.

We are grateful to Crypto.com, the LA Kings, the Kings Care Foundation, and AEG Global for investing in our mission, and to ASAS Board Member Matt David, whose leadership and partnership helped bring this moment to life. We are deeply thankful for the generosity that made this possible and for those who stand with us in uplifting young people. Together, we look forward to building on this momentum and reaching even more students in the years ahead.
