LOCAL STORY: IN THE WORDS OF AN ORLANDO ALL-STAR

Although his parents weren’t often around, Wallace found an extended family in After-School All-Stars. He continued working with the program long after he graduated. His connection was so strong it was hard to think of ASAS Orlando without Wallace.

2018 ASAS Legislative Day

After-School All-Stars visited the State Capitol in Tallahassee, FL as part of our annual 2018 Legislative Day. Students had the opportunity to meet with legislators and ask questions. After a full day, students returned home with a much richer understanding of the workings of state government and the importance of being involved in the political process.
