ASAS North Texas received $25,000 from High Tech High Heels to continue their #FemSTEM program, which will serve approximately 845 girls by July 2023! #FemSTEM is a STEM enrichment club dedicated to closing the opportunity gap while addressing the underrepresentation of women in STEM careers through intentional STEM programs. This dedicated space will help students gain confidence in their abilities, build problem-solving competency, and learn to navigate problems systematically in the realm of STEM. All participating students are female-identifying and 98% of participants are students of color. All-Star #FemSTEM girls are gearing up to go out into the world and shatter some glass!
