In July, Kelly Woodland stepped down from his role as ASASPC’s executive director to pursue a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at United Way. He will continue to serve Philadelphia and southern New Jersey communities in his new role, and we are excited to share that he will remain part of the After-School All-Stars family by joining our advisory board.

Under Kelly’s leadership, our chapter’s footprint has expanded from three schools to 13 total sites. He leaves the chapter financially healthy, and his relationships throughout the area have made our network stronger and more resilient than ever. Kelly played a huge part in helping us sustain funding during times of uncertainty and turbulence over the past several years.

We wish Kelly remarkable success in his new role at United Way’s recently launched Center for Leadership Equity.
